What is a standard installation? A standard installation comprises; Roof pitch between 20 and 30 degrees Single-storey residence Clear unobstructed, preferably North facing roof area, free of shade, hazards, and large enough to accommodate the solar array Continuous solar array installed in multiples of 6 or 9 panels on a single roof Wiring distance from PV panels to inverter to switchboard-meter is less than 20m Meter-box and wiring conforms to Australian Standards and requires no modifications
